With online spending booming, so is the consumers concern over the security of payment and personal information. Payment security

For all online transactions we use Geotrust (equifax) 128bit SSL encryption technology to ensure transaction security.

To add to this high level of security, we never store your payment card details on our servers. This is to ensure against fraud. For example: If someone finds yours user name and password details on a shared computer, they will not be able to access your credit card details online.

We use the largest independent Payment Service Provider in the UK for all our online transactions. They are a level 1 compliant provider under the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), which is the highest level of compliance.

Tip: You can tell if a page is secure when a padlock appears at the bottom bar of your browser, or next to the browser address bar on the latest browsers. Also the 'http' changes to 'https' at the front of www.xultbooks.com in the browser address bar.

We are now Hackersafe certificated. Hackersafe are the leading website security certification company and used by over half the top 500 internet retailers in the world.

Internet shopping is safe

Consumers can shop online with confidence wherever they see the ISIS logo because it certifies that the retailer has:

• registered with the ISIS programme and undertaken to trade in a manner that is LEGAL, DECENT, HONEST, TRUTHFUL AND FAIR;
• had its web site and service reviewed and monitored by IMRG;
• had its Business, VAT and Data Protection registrations checked by IMRG.
  

Phishing

This is a practice where nasty folk trick people into sharing their confidential information. This maybe done by pretending to be from a company when sending and email to a user, and attempting to trick that user into reveal private information that may be used for identity fraud.

Please Note: We will never ask you for private information by email. In the event that we do require such details, we will ask you to contact us by phone to prevent any security breach.
