Book review guidelines

For most of us book reviews are essential reading when buying a new book, so we welcome you to review the books you have bought form us, books you already own or have those you have read in the past. There are a few guildelines you need to be aware of:

Please note that we will only accept original reviews which have not been published elsewhere.

Unacceptable reviews

Please note that all reviews are analyzed before being submitted to the website. We will not accept reviews that contain any of the following:

• Inappropriate or offensive language or content.
• Sexually explicit content.
• Promotions for other companies, books, authors or websites.
• Personal information such as phone numbers, email addresses or URLs.
• Content which is not original or has been published elsewhere.

We reserve the right to remove any review at discretion.

Review pointers

The following pointers will help you write a good book review.

• Proof read your writing to ensure it is clearly written and understandable to others.
• Explain what you liked and disliked about the particular book. Where possible give reasons for your comments. Why is the book "average"?

• Keep your review to under 1000 words.

How to Submit a book review

You need to be registered with xultbooks.com, you can do this by clicking here. Once you have setup your account, there are two basic ways you can review a book. The easiest way is to find the title you want to review by using the search function in the normal way, and then click on the 'submit a review for this book' link next to the book image.

Another way is to review a book from the book reviews page by clicking the 'submit a review' link under the review options. You will be asked to log in and then asked for the ISBN number of the book you wish to review.

You can then select a star rating, add a title for your review and your actual review.

Viewing your book reviews

You can view all your reviews from your My Account, here's how: Firstly log into your my account, then click the 'my book reviews' link under the 'My stuff' section. You can also search for your reviews in the book reviews page.

Deleting a review

If you want to delete one of your book reviews, please contact us on <customercare at xultbooks.com dot com>.

Reporting abuse

If you find a review that is abusive, defamatory or clearly for commercial reasons, please email a link of the review in question to <customercare at xultbooks.com dot com> highlighting your concern.
